Matured initially in American white oak ex-bourbon casks for 10 years, before being extra matured for a further two years in Oloroso and PX sherry casks from Jerez in Spain. Lasanta is Gaelic for warmth and passion, and this whisky does not disappoint with a lusciously soft texture and deep, enticingly sweet aromas including warm spices, smooth chocolate covered raisins, honeycomb and caramel toffee. Finishes long, with spiced orange and chocolate covered hazelnut notes.
