Sandhill Estates winemaking techniques are designed to enhance, not interfere with, the naturally occurring fruit flavours in their wines. During the pressing of the grape skins, only the high-quality first pressings are gathered into oak barrels for aging. This expression is sweet-scented with a bouquet of dark plum, roasted coffee beans, blueberry jam, dark chocolate, vanilla, and sweet baking spices. It is a dry, full-bodied wine with soft tannins and juicy ripe black fruits and warm spices filling the mouth. The lingering finish shows notes of dark fruits, toasted spice and sweet oak.
